We are a non-for-profit arts presenter/producer that believes that there are only two kinds of art; we’re interested in the Good Kind.
We have several decades of combined experiences, talents, networks and interests across the artistic spectrum in Asia, Europe, North America and South America. We create opportunities for cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
We partner with a range of allies to help showcase, support and create projects that inspire the best in artists and audiences.
We believe in the power of artistic expression to build bridges, bring people together, and broaden horizons. We aim to advance the public’s understanding and appreciation of the broad range of arts that exist in our world.
We hope to inspire the best in artists to create the only kind of art that matters: The Good Kind.
Good Kind Productions is about bringing people together, creating contexts for the presentation of various art forms in which audiences are engaged, enlightened and entertained. We do this to advance the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts and to inspire the best in artists.
To inspire the creation, enjoyment and promotion of the only kind of art that matters: The Good Kind
We Believe in the power of artistic expression to build bridges and to bring people together. To that end, we:
- Create opportunities for cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Advance the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts and to inspire the best in artists.
- Access artistic talent from around the world and working together with local, regional and international partners to showcase, promote and present that talent to audiences of all kinds.
- Create contexts for the presentation of various art forms in which audiences are engaged, enlightened and entertained.
Aim to be a creative force in and resource for the community here in Toronto, and for communities around the world.
For a combined five decades, we have been devoted to discovering and sharing a variety of arts and artists with audiences, and dedicated to introducing audiences of all kinds to the magic of music, through work on all sides of the stage in production and presentation and as journalists, publicists, radio producers and more.
Since our founding, we have worked with many of Toronto’s most important arts organizations and events — including Doors Open, Small World Music, Harbourfront Centre, the Aga Khan Museum and Massey Hall/Roy Thomson Hall. With a particular emphasis on diversity and partnerships in our programming, we have arranged national and international tours, headed up publicity efforts for visiting artists, presented a range of concerts across Canada.
